With funding from Reem Al-Musallam from the State of Qatar 🇶🇦 and supervision from Namaa Charity in the State of Kuwait, the Heteen Development Foundation is implementing a surgical camp for cataract removal and contact lens insertion in Ad Dali

The free medical camp for cataract removal and contact lens insertion was launched on Sunday morning, July 6, 2025, in the presence of the Governor of Ad Dali' Governorate, Major General Ali Muqbil Saleh; the Director of the General Office of Public Health and Population in the Governorate, Dr. Iyad Saleh Abdullah Muthanna; the Director of the Directorate, Mr. Abdul-Wasie Saleh Ahmed; and representatives of the supporting and implementing agencies.

The attendees expressed their deep gratitude to the funding, supervising, and implementing agencies, emphasizing the importance of this qualitative medical initiative, which comes at a time when the country is suffering from a severe deterioration in the health sector, especially in the field of ophthalmology and eye surgery services.

The camp aims to perform 300 cataract removal and contact lens insertion surgeries, in addition to providing free examination and screening services at Ad Dali' General Hospital (Hakula) in the Jlas area.

This humanitarian project embodies the spirit of Arab brotherhood and solidarity, as the Kuwaiti and Qatari people stand with the Yemeni people through effective humanitarian initiatives that contribute to alleviating the suffering of patients and improving the quality of life for the poorest and most needy groups
