On the sidelines of the 16th United Nations Conference on Combating Desertification (COP16) in Riyadh, Dr. Jamal Al-Faqih, Director of the Heteen Charitable Development Foundation in Yemen, met with representatives of the Saudi Program for Development and Humanitarian Relief, headed by Dr. Ibrahim Al-Muslim. The meeting took place during Dr. Al-Faqih's visit to the exhibition of representatives of international and foreign organizations and companies participating in the conference.

The meeting discussed the volume of funding provided by the Saudi Program to Yemen over the past years, in addition to discussing the volume of funding allocated to Yemen in the coming years, in various humanitarian and development fields. Dr. Al-Faqih expressed his thanks to the Saudi Program for its continuous efforts in providing humanitarian assistance to the Yemeni people.

The meeting was also attended by a number of heads and representatives of Yemeni civil society organizations, including Mr. Abdul Raouf Al-Youssef (President of Fikr Organization for Development), and Mr. Ahmed Al-Akwa (President of the Yamani Foundation for Development), in the presence of Mr. Fouad Al-Faqih, Deputy Director General of the Social Affairs Office in Taiz.
